April, Go Away. But Tell May to Come Out and Play.

I've always hated April. It's like the last step into the pool, except like a really big step that lasts forever.

But we only have a month. I guess it could be worse. I don't even know how I made it through high school? Doesn't it last till June? Sheesh.

So, spring break was fun. I deliberately scheduled only a hair appointment and sat around my house for the rest of the time. I'm always doing something, so I thought it would be fun to just sit around and relax for Spring Break. And it was...

Until I received an email that two of my articles due for the April Fool's edition of the Echo were late...

I had completely forgotten! And for some reason, I thought it was due the week after we got back. I don't know. Spring Break warped my brain. So, I had to call the editor, Aprielle, and beg for forgiveness. She still let me turn them in, but of course, they were counted late.

So, yes, I had a late assignment during Spring Break. I think that's the first time that has ever happened to anyone.

So, first week back was okay, I guess. Nothing exciting.

I have to go to three softball games this week, and I'm not too jazzed about it. I'm just lazy right now, and all I want to do is sleep.

So, right now, I am going to do just that. I am going to sleep.
